Welcome back to Term 3 – we hope you all had a lovely Christmas break and wish you all a Happy New Year!
PE CO-ORDINATOR MEETING - Monday 16th January 2-3.30pm
We are hoping to hold this at the Herne Bay Hub and will send out confirmation later this week. The first part of the meeting will cover Sports Partnership areas, with the second part focusing on deep dives in PE - if you have any questions that you would like addressed at the meeting, please email these to Hannah this week. If you haven’t done so already, please confirm whether you or a representative from your school will be attending.
YR3/4 & YR5/6 QUICKSTICKS HOCKEY
We can now confirm that this will take place on Weds 22nd March at the Herne Bay Hub.
ACTIVE LIVES SURVEY WEBINAR
Active Kent & Medway is hosting a webinar on the Sport England Active Lives Children & Young People Survey on Thursday 26 January 2023 between 1615-1700 via Microsoft Teams.
The webinar will help schools undertake the Active Lives survey with their pupils and students and will showcase the various benefits of being involved including a bespoke school report, access to the Healthy Schools Rating Scheme and equipment vouchers, plus answer any questions that you may have. YR5/6 SPORTSHALL ATHLETICS/DECATHLON OPPORTUNITY
Attached is information regarding the Kent County Athletic Association Sporthall Athletics Decathlon which is being held at The Stour Centre in Ashford this Sunday, 15th January. Please share with anyone who might be interested.
