Herne Bay High School / 14 Jul 2026
We are incredibly proud of our Year 10 and Year 12 students for successfully completing their work experience placements this year.
Our students embraced a wide range of opportunities, gaining valuable insight into the world of work and developing important employability skills. Year 12 students secured placements in a variety of professional settings, including the Houses of Parliament, accountancy firms, and working as a journalist.
Meanwhile, our Year 10 students made the most of placements across a range of sectors, including primary education, retail, and engineering.
Completing work experience takes confidence, resilience and professionalism, and our students represented themselves and Herne Bay High School exceptionally well. We have received some wonderful feedback from employers, who were impressed by the enthusiasm, commitment and maturity shown throughout the week.
A huge thank you to all the employers who welcomed our students and helped provide such valuable experiences. We are also grateful to parents and carers for their support in helping students make the most of these opportunities.
Well done, Year 10 and Year 12 – we are extremely proud of you all!
