We have had nearly 250 students attend our extra-curricular PE clubs so far this term, from basketball at breakfast, to fitness at lunchtime, and huge numbers at football after school.

‘2:22 A Ghost Story’ was our Drama department's first trip of the year, where their sixth form students took the opportunity to analyse the show, supporting their theatre influences ready for their exam.
The audience were all informed at the end ‘Shhh… Please Don’t TELL’ so that the secret of the ending would not be revealed to anyone who hasn’t yet seen it. All our students will say is that some may attend the show again for a second time to see how the secret is unravelled!
Thanks to The Marlowe Theatre for providing us with top West End shows once again.

Yesterday our Year 11 Health and Social Care students enjoyed a visit from Katy Michael, REIKI by the SEA.
They learnt about some of the different therapies and their benefits that are used in care settings. They learnt about reiki healing, music therapy, massage and the use of essential oils, as well as experiencing a head massage!
This will help them with their coursework unit: Creative and Therapeutic Activities.

Their triple bill show as part of their encounters tour will feature a special performance from sixth form students from Herne Bay High Dance Academy.

Open training for students starts next week after school on the field and Astro. Girls on Monday with Year 7 and 10 Boys on Tuesday and Year 7, 8 and 9 Boys on Thursday. Please remember to bring boots or trainers and shin pads to the sessions.
