NETBALL LEAGUE
Final information and groups will be sent out later this week.
DISTRICT FOOTBALL COMPETITION
The District Football competition will be held on Wednesday 3rd May 2023 at UKC. On our original Competition Calendar, a Tennis event was scheduled to take place on this date, however, this will now be the District Football. Invoices for entries to the Netball and Football leagues and for the District Football competition will be sent out shortly.
TERM 2 COMPETITIONS
Yr2/3 Unihoc Cornerball Competition
This event will take place on Wednesday 23rd November at HBHS from 1.30-3.30pm. Due to the high number of entries, we are unable to accommodate any second teams this time. Further information will be sent out today and entries are as follows: Swalecliffe, Bysing Wood, Hernhill, Herne Bay Juniors/Infants, Hampton, St Mary’s Cath, Davington, Herne Juniors, Eastling, Ethelbert Road, Herne Infants, Briary, Whitstable Endowed, St Mary of Charity, Whitstable Juniors, Westmeads, Boughton.
Yr5/6 Basketball Competition
This took place last Wednesday afternoon at Herne Bay High School, with 15 teams involved. Well done to all the teams that took part and congratulations to Herne Juniors who won this competition and to runners-up Herne Bay Juniors.
YR6 SPORTSHALL TRANSITION EVENT
Thank you to those schools that requested to take part in this event. Hampton were first to get back to me so will be taking part, with Bysing Wood as reserve.
WAKE & SHAKE FESTIVAL
Unfortunately, no further progress on this so we are still looking for a venue for 14th December – any contacts that you have would be greatly appreciated.

CPD OPPORTUNITY – QUIDDITCH
In partnership with Enrich Education, Cobham Hall School Games Team are running an ‘Introduction to Quidditch’ training module. This CPD is 1st4Sport Endorsed and certified by QuidditchUK and the Quidditch Premier League. Please find below information and booking links for our Quidditch CPD on Friday 6th January 2023. The training is for both primary and Secondary staff.
VENUE: Cobham Hall School, Brewers Lane, Gravesend, Kent, DA12 3BL
We will run 2 sessions throughout the day. (You only need to attend 1 session)
Session1:
Registration from 9.30am
Course Start: 10.00am – 12.00pm
