McCarthy Makes First Team Debut - posted 12th Jan

Football Academy student and Margate U18’s player Jake McCarthy made his league debut for the senior team on the 7th January. Jake played the full 90 minutes against Brightlingsea, in a game which finished 3-3. After impressing within the academy set up, Jake was brought into the side and gave a confident display, so much so he even featured in the Kent Online Team of Week! Following this, Jake retained his place in the team to face Whitehawk at home, showing the trust the management team have in his ability.

Year 7 History Castle Competition - posted 14th Nov

Over the half term holiday Year 7 were given the opportunity to build a Motte and Bailey Castle as part of the History Department 'build a castle' competition. Year 7 have been learning about the reasons why William I built castles in England after 1066. They have also been learning the location they were built in and what their main features were.

Sixth Form students meet Dr Zimbardo - posted 14th Oct

On Wednesday 12th October, some of our Year 12 and 13 Psychology & Sociology students had the amazing opportunity to hear Dr Phil Zimbardo speak online to hundreds of schools world-wide. Zimbardo is one of the most famous living psychologists. He is outstanding in his field and has been an expert witness on several high-profile cases involving prisons.

GCSE Results 2022 - posted 25th Aug

All our Year 11 students worked tremendously hard over the past 18 months regardless of the difficulties they faced with disruption to schooling. The GCSE results published today are a true reflection of their determination, dedication, and drive to be the best they can be. Every student should be proud of their achievements, and I hope they are as thrilled with their outcomes as we are.
