GCSE Results Summer 2025
21 Aug

At Herne Bay High, we believe every student – regardless of their starting point, talent, or ability deserves the opportunity to succeed. These results serve as a vital springboard for our students as they take their next steps, whether that is joining the vast majority who continue into our ‘Outstanding’ Sixth Form, moving on to another educational setting, or beginning a training or apprenticeship programme.

Today’s GCSE results are a testament to our students’ dedication, determination, commitment, and ambition to achieve their absolute best. They should be incredibly proud of all they have accomplished, and we hope they feel as delighted with their results as we do.

Many of our students have achieved the very highest GCSE grades of 7,8 & 9 with examples of students such as Zahra, Caitlin, Isla, Emily, Phoebe, Chris, Abigail, and Mia each receiving a fantastic set of grades.

We are also proud of those too that worked so hard and made exceptional progress. The full list is too large to mention however, special congratulations go to Neve, Christopher, Millie, Neve, Junior, Esme, Freya, Hannah, and Dixie.

HBHS Principal Mr Boyes said: “I am incredibly proud of our students and the way they have approached their GCSE’s this year. Their results reflect the dedication, resilience, and commitment they have shown throughout their time at Herne Bay High. They truly deserve the exciting opportunities that now lie ahead.

Once again, we look forward to welcoming a record number of students into our Ofsted-rated 'Outstanding' Sixth Form, where I have no doubt they will continue to build on this success. For those moving on to college, apprenticeships, or other pathways, I wish them every success and happiness in the next stage of their journey. We look forward to seeing many return as proud alumni to share their stories and inspire the next generation of Herne Bay High students.”

Our Year 11 students have achieved an excellent set of examination results, and we are immensely proud of their accomplishments. Beyond their academic success, they have grown into confident and capable young adults during their time at Herne Bay High School. Through their involvement in sport, the visual and performing arts, charitable work, and community service, they have developed valuable life skills and made meaningful contributions to school life. They should be incredibly proud of all they have achieved, and we wish each of them every success and happiness as they take their next steps.

Well done everyone!
