CASS Awards Evening 2026

On Wednesday 28 January, Herne Bay High School proudly hosted its second CASS Awards Evening in the Bay Theatre, celebrating students whose resilience, courage and character deserve special recognition.

The evening brought together students, families, and staff to recognise young people whose journeys have not always been straightforward, but who continue to show determination, kindness, and perseverance every day. Awards celebrated our school values, Youth Engagement, Young Carers and our Safeguarding Champions - students who make a positive difference through empathy, advocacy, and strength.

We reflected upon the importance of belonging and support, reminding students that success is not only measured by grades, but by character and resilience. The evening also highlighted the vital role of families and the dedication of the CASS team in supporting our students.

We are incredibly proud of all the students recognised and grateful to everyone who made the evening such a special celebration.
