Winter Community Dance Platform

A Celebration of Dance, Belonging and Purpose

On Wednesday 21st January at 7.00pm, The Bay Theatre at Herne Bay High School will host the Winter Community Dance Platform, a joyful celebration of community dance. This special evening will showcase the vibrancy, creativity and spirit of our local community through dance, highlighting the powerful ways in which movement brings people together.

The event places a spotlight on the true meaning of community — a sense of belonging, safety and shared purpose. Performers from across the area will come together to celebrate not only dance, but the bonds it fosters between people of all ages and backgrounds.

This year’s platform also reflects the values of the “Let’s Dance” campaign, launched by Angela Rippon to inspire dance for life in communities everywhere. In its first year, the campaign has already encouraged people to discover the joy and wellbeing benefits of dancing together, and the Winter Community Dance Platform is a shining example of that vision in action.
