Launch of Yarn Library

This morning, 24^th September, members of the crochet club and Miss Reece were present at the grand opening of the first HBHS Yarn Library. This is a set of materials and resources that have been kindly donated by students, teachers, members of the community and by The ScrapStore in Ramsgate. 

Crochet Club students can take resources from the library to work on their crochet projects. They are asked to make a contribution to the library if they can, or to contribute some of their creations for our charity fund raisers.   

We'd like to say a very big thank you to everyone who has helped to get this project up and running. Its already proving very popular with students.

We are currently on the hunt for old curtain hoops which can be repurposed as Christmas Tree Decorations.

We are also very happy to receive buttons, beads and yarn of any kind. Contributions can be  left at the school office.
