East Kent Mind started Mental Health Awareness Week (11-17 May) with the launch of a new school service - piloted at Herne Bay High School.
A team of East Kent Mind Wellbeing Ambassadors delivered a new Everyday Mental Health session to students, pitched for pupils to apply to join the Wellbeing Ambassador programme, and set the school a series of campus-wide challenges with this term being to design the trophy for the 2026 Kent Mental Wellbeing Awards.
Twenty students elected to take the Wellbeing Ambassador training and will help lead activities on campus.
