Reprographics & Art Technician - Wednesday 12th May 2021

HBHS is looking to recruit a Reprographics and Art Technician for a September 2021 to support the smooth and efficient running of the Visual Arts and Reprographics Departments. The successful candidate will have day-to-day responsibility for ensuring staff and students are provided with a quality graphics provision alongside providing technician support to the Visual Arts Department.

The successful candidate should have a working knowledge of Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite and enjoy working alongside students to support with their exam work and portfolios.

This is a permanent position, 37 hours per week, term time only + 5 days. Salary will be within the HBHS Pay Scheme Band 4, £18,078 to £18,994 pro rata with actual salary approximately between £15,200 and £16,000 dependent upon experience.

Cleaners - Tuesday 27th April 2021

We are looking to employ cleaners to our extremely busy cleaning team to work a combination of shifts. The available working hours are 5.30-7.30am and/or 3.15-5.15pm 10 or 20 hours per week, term time plus 6 weeks. £8.91 per hour. Science Technician - Tuesday 27th April 2021

We are seeking a suitably experienced person to join our Science Department as a Science Technician to start September 2021. The successful candidate will be required to plan and prepare equipment for lessons within all three disciplines of science and should be confident with handling chemicals and working in a team and alone. This position is 37 hours per week, term time + 2 weeks. Salary will be within the HBHS Salary Band 3-4 dependent upon experience £17,186 to £18,994 pro rata, actual salary between approximately £14,800 to £16,300 dependent upon experience.

HLTA Maths - Tuesday 27th April 2021

The school is looking to recruit an aspiring or qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant for our Maths Department in September 2021. Applicants should have a sound understanding of SEND students, have at least a level 2 literacy and numeracy qualification and either hold or be prepared to work towards the necessary HLTA qualification. Knowledge of the latest GCSE maths specification would be a great benefit.
This is a busy position with the school requiring someone with a calm and professional disposition. You will need to be flexible, reliable and have a professional approach towards your work. The ability to work as part of our large maths team is essential, however you will also need to be able to work independently and organise your time. The ability to form positive working relationships and support students to make progress is paramount.
