KS1 & KS2 Wake up and Shake up Festival/Competition

Further to our recent email, the Wake and Shake Festival/Competition scheduled for Wednesday 8th December is now a virtual event due to the rising number of covid cases in our local area.
KS1 entries: Herne Infants, Joy Lane, Bysing Wood, Boughton, Ethelbert Road, Westmeads
KS2 entries: Joy Lane, Bysing Wood, Boughton, Ethelbert Road, Herne Juniors, Briary (and teams from the Dover partnership)
Please contact Anna if you wish for us to come to your schools to watch your performances. Alternatively, we will accept video entries for the KS2 competition up until Wednesday 8th October and will announce the winners on Monday 13th December. 

Kent Schools Trampolining are running the annual Kent Schools Trampoline Championships in 2022. Please see attached documents for information regarding the rules and routines.

We are aware that some football matches have had to be postponed due to covid restrictions and therefore will be extending the deadline for matches to be played to accommodate any delays.

Yr2 Cornerball Competition

Yr3/4 Cornerball Festival

Time: 1.30-3.45pm   
Please note this event is targeted at pupils who feel would benefit from experiencing an event in a non-competitive environment. There will be no winners at the end. Please do not select pupils that regularly attend competitions.

KS1, Yr3/4 & Yr5/6 Speed Stacking Festival
Date: Wednesday 2nd February
Venue: HBHS
Time: 1.30-3.45pm

Please note that entries are not yet open for these competitions. We are hoping to give you provisional dates for your diaries so that you can plan ahead.

Venue: The Herne Bay Sports Hub
Time: Yr3/4 = 9.00-12 noon                          
Yr5/6 = 1.00-4.00pm
