We are very proud to present our team of Upper School prefects for 2022-23.
Following a rigorous application process, which included an interview with Mr Waters and Mrs Santer, the Upper School team appointed 19 students as prefects for the 2022-23 academic year.
Our prefects are split into three groups, each of whom have specific responsibilities to capitalise on their own personal skills:
- Our dedication prefects will be responsible for supporting achievement and progress and will be based primarily in the Lower School working with students to support their reading in the LRC, mentoring students in one to one or small group sessions to assist with revision and catch-up focus and also supporting staff to run clubs before school, at lunchtime or after school.
- Our kindness prefects will work with identified students, either one to one or in small groups to support them in the following areas: anxiety, social situations, confidence building and diversity.
- Our respect prefects will work to develop an ethos of respect across the school through discussions with staff and development of resources that can be displayed to embed this ethos across the school.
In addition to their specific roles, prefects will be trained as peer mentors and will also support whole school events during the year.
