Sports Day will take place this year on Friday 28th June, involving all students from across the school.
Students will visit the playing fields during a double period to take part in the activities and earn points for their college. Year 9 and 10 students will participate during periods 1 & 2; Year 8 students during periods 3 & 4; whilst Year 7 students will participate during periods 5 & 6.
During the first part of the double period, students will be able to participate in retro and field events, or the 1500m and 800m on the track; the second half of the double will see the 300m, 200m, 100m and relay track events. Students will be able to sign up during their PE lessons for the track events.
PE Kit is to be worn all day by students, who may also bring in something in their college colour to dress up in for the event.
Students will be able to follow a set pathway around the field to take part in the various events or watch others going on. They are not required to do the full event, eg three throws at shot put, but they must have a minimum of two attempts in order to record their participation point.
Unfortunately, due to the format of our Sports Day, we are unable to accommodate parents and families on site.
