As one of the top-performing Sixth Forms in Kent, the Leadership Team is very proud of the achievements obtained by our Year 13 students. Students have achieved a 97% pass rate in all A Levels and we are delighted that 73.5% of the A Level entries achieved grades A*- C. We had a 100% pass rate in BTEC qualifications.
We are confident that this year’s students have continued the high levels of progression from KS4, which puts our A Level value-added as one of the top-performing schools in the county, exceeding the performance of nearly all the selective and super-selective schools. The hard work and commitment of our students and staff has paid off to produce such great results.
We support our students through their pathway decisions and this year we have a range of destinations, which include almost 50% of students going to universities across the country. They will be studying a range of courses such as Biomedical Science, Dance, Education, Engineering, Journalism, Law, Mathematics, Nursing - Adult & Mental, Paramedic Science, Psychology and Teaching. Our Performing Arts students continue once again, to go from strength to strength with them continuing to obtain places at Dance conservatoires.
Those students who have decided on entering apprenticeships and the workplace have secured some fantastic opportunities in the areas of Finance, Policing and Science. Other students will be undertaking professional training and a small number of students have elected to travel on a Gap Year.
We would like to wish all of our students every success for their future pathway and look forward to welcoming them back to school as alumni to inspire younger students.
