Re-opening of School Site to Students

Dear Parents and Carers

On Thursday 28th May we were told by the Prime Minister that the Government’s 5 tests had been passed and it was safe to continue with the planned re-opening of schools. The guidance for secondary schools can be found here.

Summer Holiday

Every parent / child will get a bespoke invite for a time and location for the meetings.

To be able to increase the number of students onto the site requires significant amount of work, adaption of policy and full and detailed risk assessment. It is important that parents and carers, along with the wider community feel safe in sending their child back onto the school site. The following two documents and video are the detailed risk assessment and policy updates that the school has in place to support increased opening from the 15th June.

We are excited to welcome students back and hope you feel fully reassured about the COVID safety of the site during this period.

Kindest regards

Jon Boyes
Principal
